NCTF Upazila committee has been formed on 19th March 2015 in VERC head office, Savar, Dhaka. Md. Sahariar Menzis, Upazila Education Officer, Savar was presented as chief guest. Former NCTF Central Committee Member Foyez Belal, Abdullah Al Raze Naim, Istiaque Ahmed Shaon; and Ramjan Moll, Samia Khan Pria and Fatema Siddida Rima of Dhaka District Committee facilitated the whole election process following NCTF constitution.
Earlier elected President & Secretary of 25 School NCTF committee gave their vote to elect 11 member of Upazila Committee. Among other Jahid Hossain Wakil elected as President and Jeba Khan elected as General Secretary of the committee. The new Upazila Committee will now attend monthly NCTF meeting of Dhaka District Committee and raise children’s voice in Savar for a better Upazila for children. Teachers from different schools and Parents also observed the election and gave their commitment to foster the new committee.
