NCTF is a role model for child organizations in Bangladesh
Crish Morgun a journalist of Discovery Chanel came in Bangladesh from South Africa and visited National Children’s Task Force (NCTF) Rajshahi for experience the raw activity and advocacy of NCTF Members for children.
On 15 and 16 September 2015, Crish Morgun visited NCTF Rajshahi and talked with children’s to make a video documentary on children of Bangladesh regarding their advocacy and initiatives to protect and ensure child rights. He spent quality time with NCTF members and in his discussion he wanted to know about the working strategy of NCTF for children including stop child marriage, raising awareness among children, the way of collect information, child abuse and violence issue.
Crish Morgun was very happy and impressed to know that National Children’s Task Force Bangladesh is the largest child Organization in Bangladesh deal with child rights situation monitoring and its execution process based on four cluster of Child Convention including Child Protection, Survival, Development and Participation. And most importantly NCTF run for the children, of the children, and by the children.
To support the journalist for his documentary there were Bangladesh Shisu Academy officer, Senior Manager of Plan International Bangladesh Mr Faroque Alam Khan; youth volunteer Rashel Ahmed and all members NCTF committee.
